Summer Musings
DiaryWell I haven't been posting on the site for a while, also I just got back from a two week excursion to North Carolina. No not for the beaches, just visited family in the Raleigh area and surrounding country side. I did get a nice sun burn however; I can't remember ever tanning in my life. Not to mention I was semi-trapped in a newly constructed secluded country house... if I may make reference to The Shinning and The Simpsons: "No TV, phone, and internet connection make Greg go something, something" "Go crazy?" "Don't mind if I do!!" *ensues random babbling and flailing about*. Did a lot of book reading, some fun in the outdoors (so that's what the sun looks like... ouch, so bright), and always my thoughts on a girl that I ought not pursue. But it's always what you can't have isn't it, but it takes more than that to defer me. My trouble is I never know when to be stubborn and when not to be. I'm working back at the same job I had held last summer and I am enjoying it muchly. I could have probably switched to something else through various connections but I decided that I like the tasks assigned, variable time schedule, and not to mention the fantastic people that I've met at the small company I work for. I'm attracted to the faint feeling that perhaps I can be a part of something new and interesting that will grow and I'll know I was there in the beginning stages. Oh, and I'm also helping people who ask for some computer expertise on the side, making money while doing it of course. What are you up to this summer?
